The Lethbridge Masters Swim Club program is open to anyone who
  • Is 18 years or over,
  • Has some minimal swimming ability (able to swim one length using one stroke)
  • The LMSC is affiliated with Masters Swimming Alberta and Masters Swimming Canada.
  • For triathletes: there are stroke correction and workouts as numbers warrant.

Lethbridge Masters Swim Club began in the early 1980s through efforts of Ron Yoshida and Mary Hughes. The first coach was Stan Siwick and the club trained at Fritz Sick Pool. In 1986, the club moved to the Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre.
Club size has ranged from 40 - 75 members over the years.

The current President is Jennifer Merriam;
Treasurer is Laurie Winder;
Membership Chair is Devan McNeil.
Other members of the Executive are: Skylar Strong, Dawn McBride, Wendy Dodd, Dwayne Armstrong, and Dee Kennedy.
